ABOUT US:

Hello! I am Jace Sprinkle and I am the owner of Disasterful girls. I am a third generation doll artist BUT I am self taught! Growing up I used to watch my grandmother sew Raggedy Ann dolls and my mom make Reborn dolls.... I never had much interest in doll art until I found doll artists on Youtube and suddenly thought it was cool!

In middle school I discovered Dollfie Dream dolls and Pullip dolls and wanted to become a collector so bad when I was older! I was gifted my first Pullip back then and was determined to have a doll collection one day.. Many years later (2025) I finally was financially stable enough to purchase my first DD: Snow Miku at 21 years old! All of the sudden the want to make doll art came back to me! I decided that I would get over my anxiety and try to customize a doll for the first time.... I had so much fun I knew I needed to do it again! I eventually built up an audience on social media by posting my doll art and decided to open up an online shop to sell my creations so that I could fund my creating (and so my apartment doesn't become overflowing in dolls)!

As for the name.... I wanted some weird play on the "Magical Girl" type of anime! I thought it would be funny to put a "bad" twist on it to make it a little less fairy tale and a little bit more real?? My dolls are made for the people who maybe aren't perfect but are trying their best. All of your flaws make you unique and magical in your own way! I like to believe that magical girls are ordinary girls and all have their own things they struggle with.
